Nexans FR-N1 X6G3 PROTECT
Certifications and labels
Nexans FR-N1 X6G3 PROTECT
Low fire hazard (LFH/HFFR) rigid & semi-rigid copper cables, mainly used for electrification of public access buildings (ERP), high-rise buildings (IGH), and industrial applications thanks to their excellent fire behaviour (Euroclass Cca-s1,d2,a1) compliant to Moroccan norm NM 06.1.100 (NF C 15-100).
Nexans FR-N1 X6G3 Protect are primarily intended for indoor applications and are available in cross-sections from 1,5 to 400 mm2, and from 1 to 5 conductors.
MAIN BENEFITS
- Fire safety: excellent fire retardancy allowing 3 times faster evacuation in the event of fire thanks to a visibility 5 times higher than with PVC designs, no corrosive gas emission, and a limited fire propagation
- Installation: innovative design offering a similar experience to Nexans U1000-R2V in terms of diameter, flexibility and cable stripping. Mistake-free installation thanks to colored strip indicating cross-section

APPLICATION
Nexans FR N1-X6G3 PROTECT are non-armored rigid copper cables with a Euroclass rating of Cca-s1, d2, a1, complying with the new fire safety regulation for public buildings and high-rise buildings set out in the new version of Moroccan norm NM 06.1.100.
These cables can be used in all low-voltage power distribution installations and are particularly suitable for risers in public access buildings and high-rise buildings, as well as for buildings requiring high Fire Safety levels, such as work offices, Data Centers, industrial buildings, tunnels & infrastructures, and all buildings comprising areas with risky external influencing conditions (i.e., BE2 areas).
INSTALLATION
FR-N1 X6G3 PROTECT cables are primarily intended for indoor applications and can be laid in cable trays, on ladders, inside cable ducts or fixed to walls.
They can also be buried with additional mechanical protection and can be installed outdoor only with specific extra protections (UV resistance, AN3 as per NM 06.1.100).
When pulling cables, all conductors share the load equally. Under no circumstances must the maximum tensile force exceed 5 daN/mm² of the total cross-sectional area.
